The office is looking for a Legal Supervisor to assist the Chief of Professional Staff Training and Development in training professional and legal staff. Responsibilities include creating training programs, scheduling staff, maintaining training records, developing lectures, and collaborating with the Litigation Training Bureau. Job Responsibilities Assist the Chief of Professional Staff Training and Development with staff training. Develop new training programs and materials, including PowerPoint presentations and guides. Monitor staff productivity and training tasks. Stay informed about legal updates and brief the team accordingly. Manage staff activation and deactivation on the DCAS NYCityLearn system. Qualifications Juris Doctor degree and active attorney license in good standing. Felony hearing and trial experience or appellate experience with arguments in appellate courts. Minimum of four years’ experience in a District Attorney’s Office. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and familiarity with court services. Understanding of CPL 160.59 and 160.57, including handling motions and guiding the public. Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and review.
