Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking CNC Operators to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CNC Operator Location: Mebane, NC Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00/hr. DOE Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift ($2.00/hr. Shift Differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift) What's the Job? Setting up, operating, and maintaining either 5-axis or lathing CNC milling equipment to perform machining to meet key performance indicators Performing in-process inspection to produce product in compliance within production guidelines to ensure safety, quality, health, and environmental procedures are followed LEVEL “A” Must make major adjustments to CNC programs and set-ups as required and work with Engineering to develop best machining programming techniques and tooling selection as required, document and report any and all adjustments/corrections Responsible for operating multiple production machines Using manufacturing reporting systems What's Needed? 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator required with either 5-axis or lathing experience HS Diploma or GED required Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code and M-code, prove out first run programs daily Must be able to read and understand blueprints and process plans Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Commitment to safety and quality standards Positions may be requested to work weekend or off shift scheduling to meet business needs What's in it for me?
