\n \n\n \nThe role you’ll contribute:
\n \n\n \nThe MRI Supervisor supervises the modality to ensure efficient and effective work flow in the delivery of quality care; maintains adequate staffing levels to accommodate patient volumes while maintaining patient safety. Provides technical support to staff, radiologists and physicians. May image IP/OP/ED patients, while following age specific guidelines of facility. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accept responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Accepts additional roles assigned by department manager. Responsible for understanding and maintaining MRI safety for patients and staff in all designated zones.
\n \n\n \nThe value you’ll bring to the team:
\n \n\n \n· Properly screens all patients, including those of childbearing age, for contraindications to MRI and/or contrast allergies, reviewing with radiologist as needed
\n \n· Delegates responsibilities to ensure quality care in the imaging department
\n \n· Ensures employee safety and attends safety/loss-control trainings and engages in injury prevention
\n \n· Performs accident and injury investigations, including conducting root cause analyses
\n \n· Participates in completing patient safety initiatives
\n \n· Responsible for managing supplies
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \n· Associate Degree in related field OR one year supervisory experience upon hire
\n \n· 2 years of related technical experience upon hire
\n \n· Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification or RQI upon hire, then renewed quarterly per RQI protocols
\n \n· Current ARRT Registration in MR upon hire
\n \n· Current Radiographer license upon hire
