The position is 1st shift, Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM with overtime available on a business need basis. Responsibilities include demonstrating safe work habits, maintaining a clean and professional work area, participating in daily cleaning activities, utilizing various computer systems for daily activities, completing assigned work in a quality and timely manner under direct to moderate supervision, working to specifications using required tools and equipment according to FAA and company regulations, and other duties as required by the manager. The candidate must have or be able to obtain solder certification within 6 months, be familiar with all types of hand tools, read and understand blueprints and follow detailed instructions, work in a fast-paced repair environment, understand output goals and communicate with management daily, and work without direct supervision to complete daily goals. Qualifications require typically a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. The role is onsite and considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines, subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA regulations.
