Private orthopedic sports medicine surgical practice is looking for a practice manager focused on high quality patient care and effective day-to-day administrative procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

- maintaining and implementing policies and procedures related to the daily practice operations and ensuring that all relevant regulatory and other professional standards are maintained

- Ensures all mandatory training is completed by staff and HIPAA policies and procedures are followed by staff

- Evaluates, develops and implements administrative systems and procedures designed to maximize practice operations

-Proficiency in practical and technical aspects of electronic health record and billing programs, especially eClinical Works, Athena and Epic

-ability to obtain prior authorizations for MRIs and surgical procedures

-maintains strong personal relationships with affiliated hospital administrative staff members

-maintains medical supply inventory including durable medical equipment such as boots and braces

-efficient scheduling and preparation for daily patient visits and independent medical exams

-skilled billing and coding procedures for visits and procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

-Bachelor’s degree

- Experience in a medical practice management role

-Strong leadership and management skills `

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

-Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

-Proficiency in computer software and healthcare-related systems

-Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
