Job Title: Land Development Project Manager

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Job Summary:

A confidential engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Land Development Project Manager to join its Phoenix-based team. This role involves managing complex land development and infrastructure projects from concept through construction, with a focus on delivering sustainable, cost-effective, and regulatory-compliant solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage land development projects including site planning, grading, drainage, utility design, and permitting.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and planners.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality control.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design plans, and construction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 10+ years of experience in land development or civil infrastructure project management.
  • Strong knowledge of Arizona land use regulations, permitting processes, and environmental compliance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and GIS tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with stormwater management, grading and drainage design, and utility coordination.
  • Familiarity with NEPA, ADEQ, and local municipal permitting.
  • Business development experience and existing client relationships in the Southwest region.
