Role Overview: As a Graphic Design Volunteer at the Thaddeus Resource Center, you will contribute your creative skills to enhance our visual communication and outreach efforts. Your designs will play a vital role in conveying our mission, engaging our community, and supporting women and single moms on their journey toward self-sufficiency. Responsibilities: Design Collateral: Create eye-catching marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and posters. Design digital assets for social media campaigns and website content. Branding and Identity: Maintain consistency in visual branding across all platforms. Develop and refine the Thaddeus Resource Center’s visual identity. Event Promotion: Design event banners, invitations, and promotional graphics. Collaborate with the events team to ensure effective communication. Website Graphics: Assist in creating graphics for the organization’s website. Optimize images for web use. Photo and Video Editing: Enhance and edit photos and videos for various purposes. Ensure high-quality visuals for storytelling. Skills and Qualifications: Proficiency in Graphic Design Tools: Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with Canva Pro for quick design tasks. Creativity and Attention to Detail: Ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs. Strong attention to detail and aesthetics. Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with other volunteers and staff. Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs. Time Commitment: Project-based with flexible scheduling.
